advice on getting a loan with a CCJ
hello.
i'm in the situation where i now want to consolidate all my debts. i'd be able to do it but i have a CCJ against my name from vodafone for not paying a bill i couldnt afford at the time as i was moving house.
i'm now paying it off in installments via a company vodafone use to contact evil crimanal people like me...
all i need is 3k so its a small loan (this incluedes paying off the rest of the bill and also leave me enough for a new car which i need) so i thought it would be fairly easy. i tried 2 loan companys and got refused. i was accepted last month but the repayments where insane!
is there any hope for me in getting a loan i can actually afford? any advice on what i can do to help the situation?
thanks for any help.

Very unlikely with an outstanding CCJ.
Once its paid off and shown as such on your credit file you might stand a slim chance of a loan, but still likely to be at a very high APR. Once the CCJ is 4-5years old your chances of a quarter decent rate improve.
(just as an aside don't sign up for any 'bad credit loans'/ 'guaranteed loans' or 'guarantor loans', especially not those with websites that want you to enter your bank details - I'm sure you wouldn't but just in case).A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
