In the process of separating from my husband who works abroad. Does anyone know if I would be liable to UK tax on any child maintenance or support payments he sends me from abroad, if tax has already been paid in the country he is working in and there is a double taxation agreement in place?
Thanks

Hello there
There is no UK tax on maintenance payments, so you are fine there!0 -
There may a withholding tax in the country the money is sent from so you should take personal tax advice before agreeing.0
