County Court Judgement - Unaware

I have just had a credit check done by a letting agency for a new house. It transpires that I have a CCJ for £700 that I was completely unaware of. I have had no correspondence and can think of no bill I could possibly owe - I feel sick if i don't pay bills! I pay everything on time. What's my best course of action to find out what this thing is? I have signed up for my free months trial on Experian but I have to wait 5 days for the PIN.
Any quicker methods would be appreciated as I'm a bit worried about it.

Equifax do a £2 statutory report and if you answer the security questions right you'll get immediate access to your full report. Questions are like, value of last credit card bill and who is your mortgage with - just so they can make sure it is you! http://www.equifax.co.uk/Products/credit/statutory-report.html0

Yes. I left my ex partner in 2009. But I cannot think of any bill I had that I did not take with me and change address to. If he had run up a bill at the old address would it bring my name up too? I know he did nt pay his council tax for that property as they sent a letter to my new address. I rang them and they said it was not my bill so I should nt worry about it. Basically they had gone fishing on past associated people and sent letters to him, at all the addresses, in the hope they may find him. Could this be the problem? Surely if it was they would have asked me for payment?0

What about water rates? You can also contact the court to find out what the debt is for, as your credit report won't neccesarily say, it'll usually just give the court, claim number, date and judgement amount.
You could also search the register of judgements.

You can then look at the possibility of applying to set it aside if you received no notification for a genuine reason (ie they knew about your new address but sent it to an old one, for example..)Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Thanks. I have just done the above and can see nothing about any court judgements. Under the heading 'Court Information' for all 3 of my last addresses it says 'N/A'.
Does it show somewhere else on the report? If not, I don't understand where the estate agents have got it from.0 -
