If you're a keen Counter-Strike: Source player and clan member, then you will already know that leading online retailer Ebuyer is running a three-month CS: Source tournament to find the UK's top team (see www.team-ebuyer.com).
The competition, which kicked off late last year and is being run in collaboration with UK clan site Enemy Down (www.enemydown.com) and 4U Servers (www.4u-servers.co.uk), will see the winning team walk away with a sponsorship and prize bundle worth a staggering £35,000!
As part of this prize bundle, each member of Team Ebuyer will receive a high-end gaming PC that has been personally performance-tuned by the rabid overclockers at Custom PC magazine. However, you don't need to be part of a ninja Counter-Strike: Source clan to get your hands on a fantastic gaming PC, because Ebuyer is offering one lucky reader the chance to bag a £2,500 monster machine for free!
The top eight qualifying teams will fight for the title of Team Ebuyer at a special LAN event that will take place from 17-18 March 2007 at the Ringside Suite at Wolverhampton Racecourse. In addition to the Team Ebuyer finals, there will also be a 245-player BYOC LAN that promises to offer some additional prizes.
