Smaller and understated usually comes across as classier

    very true thank you!

I've seen some card on ebay for the square gatefold invites (really fancying the square ones now lol). I can get 100 sheets of 130mm x 130mm for £25 or 100 sheets of 150mm x 150mm for £30... is that a good price? Or does anyone know of where it's cheaper?

Also, they offer either hammered or linen card... which is better?

Are you going to be printing directly onto the card? If you are, you'd need to test it in your printer first. Hammered card is sort of lumpy, and linen card can resemble fabric and sometimes ink can leak along.

If you aren't printing straight onto card, it's really up to personal taste so I'd email and request a sample first.

Try pda card and craft. That's where I get all my blanks from.
What matters most is how well you walk through the fire

I think I will be printing directly onto the card. Have emailed the seller on ebay and asked if I can buy a sample of each type.

Will have a look at pda card and craft thanks :)

Wow!! I'm well impressed! I can get 100 Gatefold cards, 100 envelopes & 200 inserts for just over £20! Excellent!!! Thank you ladies!

(don't really need that many... thought I'd over order in case of mistakes lol)

I'm sending RSVP cards with our address printed on the envelope so didn't think I needed to put it on the invite. Or do I?

Fabby!! Love the inserts and the way they are flappy bits (ooer missus ha!) :)
Just thinking about neatening up the bow. Have you thought about using some good wired ribbon? That'd make sure the bow loops stay up and not go all floppy... but then I don't know if that is important as most people won't have it standing up!!
    Well done!
