Cheap natural beauty brands?

I use rose water in a spray bottle as a toner.
Coconut oil (i use Parachute) on my hair. Its apparently the only oil that can penetrate the hair shaft. I also use it on my skin. It also clears up athletes foot and lots of other skin conditions.
Grapeseed oil (from supermarket) as a body moisturiser and sometimes mixed with heavier oils to dilute them to apply to my hair.
Coconut milk (in a can from supermarket), as a hair treatment.
Shea butter as a moisturiser, skin and hair.
Salt crystal deodorant (i dont trust the aluminium in non natural deodorants!), but i dont know if i would buy another one of these.
Fullers earth for a face mask.
Olive oil (supermarket), on hair and body. Also to remove eye makeup.
Great post...I also use organic, extra virgin coconut oil on my hair. You can put it on your skin, hair, or eat it
. It's a great conditioner...I got some on ebay for about £3-4, and it's lasted me a while. I only use a bit otherwise my hair would get too weighed down.
I once met a middle Eastern girl with the most amazing hair, she said she'd put olive oil in her hair, wrap it in a hot towel and leave it overnight.
I've heard that lemon juice is good as a toner, although I've never tried it. I've also heard of egg white face masks, but again never tried it. I have tried rose water as a toner though....I also use it to take off eye make up. I dip half a cotton wool pad in the toner, and place under my eye, then dip another pad and wipe the make up off, to prevent discolouration of under eye skin from black eyeliner/mascara and also to avoid rubbing the skin and helping wrinkles!
Tomatoes are good for the skin...you can just rub the tomato over your face, sliced in half (the tomato not your face
then wash off.
Hope this helps

The cheapest I've found is Faith in Nature - good quality products, no SLES or parabens and very reasonable prices.
I've tried the shampoo and conditioner, bath foam, soap and the skin care and all have given goods results.0 -
Lush do have the occasional product that's 100% natural - if you take a look at their website or catalogue they colour code the ingredients list. I really like Angels on Bare Skin cleanser and a little pot of it lasts for ever!

I've also heard really good things about Dr Bronner Soaps but haven't had a chance to try them yet:

As well as being natural they're fairtrade and organic, and it sounds like you can use them for pretty much anything.
There are also lots of fantastic independent businesses/sellers on Etsy that make organic/natural products, and even with shipping from another country it can be quite bargainous:

There is also a similar UK website but I find this has less of a selection: http://folksy.com/0 -
Nature's Response products are nice and you can get them at a reasonable price. You can find them on sale in TK Maxx or online. For more information try: http://www.teatree.ltd.uk/lemonscented.php
To buy online try: http://www.yourepharmacy.com/tea-tree-range/?sort=price0 -
Brands like Balance Me, Nude and Cowshed etc are worth a look - try this website - it stock s a wide range of brands, and you can search via brand or product and find out more about each brand and their ethics/ingredients etc http://www.naturisimo.com/ They often have items in the sale/special offer with money offer, and you get 5 free samples which you pick with each order you place0

I always look out for cheap natural products that are cruelty free.
I have read about Dr Bronners Magic Soap, you can do everything with this stuff even brush your teeth
and because its super concentrated it lasts ages.
Cheapest i've found is on Supersmoocher £5.30 with free delivery for the liquid soap but you can get the solid bar cheaper at £3.90. I'm seriously going to try some i think, anyone used it got any reviews?

I'm trying to go all-natural with my bath and body products, but most of the brands I've seen are totally extortionate, and I couldn't consider spending that on body products unless I was a lot richer.
Are there any cheaper brands (and I mean 100% natural ingredients, not like Lush who still use quite a bit of synthetic stuff) or should I just look into starting to make up my own products?
Purely natural skin. They were handing out free samples the other day. Didn't think 100% natural skin care would do much for your skin but was really impressed. Personally like their acne cleanser. Some of the Lush stuff is 100% natural you just need to do a lot of searching around their store.0 -
Dr Bronner is wonderful. I used the tea tree stuff in hospital last year. Im sure it helped fight off infection.0
