Picked up my set of purple pebble lamps today, 2 for £6.99 - http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002951&langId=-1&productId=1501252157 the box was crushed but on a quick look the lamps inside looked ok. Got home and the shades are badly crushed though. Have reserved another set at a store nearer home. Hope they are ok about swapping and don't think I damaged them.:eek: I guess i really should have taken a better look instore but it was Edmonton Retail park, had been really hard to find, and the queue was massive, one man was shouting at the family at the front to hurry up what were they doing buying the whole store up.....couldn't get out fast enough tbh.
EDIT - all sorted, got my new lamps today. Argos customer service at it's best!

The Reindeer slippers are lovely though, I'm pleasantly surprised! I'm a 6 and got the 5-6 and they come up quite big so I fit comfortably in them (a bit roomy if anything). Ha ha can't wait to see BFs face when I present him with his pair tonight. He thought I was joking about getting them! They are really warm and ok to walk around it too. OOh they never had stuff like that when I was a kid so am making up for it now.

I can see now how people start shopping for christmas so early, its foolish not to. I cant believe some of the prices are less than haved since "the big day" just goes to show really christmas can be a rip off & I am not scrooge but some of the december price hikes are outrageous !!
