I suggest you go in and talk to them, we went in yesterday with our Mr T vouchers and when asked if that was the best deal he could do, the salesman reduced the 2 bedroom units and delivery by about £50. Then when we got to the paying bit, I said we had vouchers, and whipped out £200 in vouchers and got my purse out to pay the remaining £1, so he reduced the price again to knock off the £1!!:j
We were also buying a sofabed, he asked how many vouchers we had and got the sofa reduced until it and the delivery was £4.99 above the value of the vouchers. All in all, a great salesman!!
If you think the price is still too high, you can always walk away when you have got their 'best price' and say you want to think about it.0 -
I'm tempted to say don't bother. We spent nearly £1800 on a bedroom last year and it is very poor quality, especially the drawer units which are very difficult to adjust. Also, the laminate surface is very delicate and damages easily. When it was delivered there was a fair bit of stuff missing, small stuff like screws, brackets etc and they take ages to arrive. They actually asked us if we were having it fitted by MFI or doing it ourselves. The operator told us that their own fitters get prority on replacements and have stuff issued immediately, DIYers take a little longer!

if you do want one from MFI wait till the last day of the sale and see if they'll do you the showroom one. My Dad got his kitchen complete with cooker etc for some stupid price as the sale was ending and weren't stocking that range anymore.0

Our salesman tried to give us additional discounts yesterday, but was blocked by the computer. They have really tightened up for the remaining time they are with Tesco. You might not be so lucky now..............0

they always have a half price sale on after christmas that goes on till about february, i got my wardrobes a couple of years ago, a corner unit and one with inbuilt drawers and a chest of drawers with glass top, altogether about £1k worth for under £300, they were doing a half price sale with an extra 20% off sale prices if you spent over the threshold, i spent about £20 over the threshold (bought a glass top for some other drawers we had to make the price up) and got the lot for about £270
i couldn't have bought them out the argos catalogue for thatthings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then

Ive been tracking the prices for over a year now and agree that this is the best sale they have on IMO. My order came to 1k plus delivery and I said to the salesman if you can do me this package for 950 to include delivery ill take it now. He aid yes and we were out within 10 mins. Out Tesco vouchers havent arrived yet but we were prepared to pay the deposit to save the sale prices as we are moving house and would of needed to purchase furniture anyway! The salesman mentioned a 25% deposit which we paid as Mr T vouchers are also being used towards OU course but I know 10% is the norm.Saving needed to emigrate to Oz*September 2015*
£11,860.00 needed = £1,106 in savings
