right! all mixed up here so bear with me! we have a loan with paragon formerly universal credit. first year went fine...this was away back 96/97. then we hit problems so went to the local authority money advice office who dealt with them on our behalf. sorted out reduced payments and then this is where it all becomes vague. we have increased payments over time so now paying over £200 monthly. we get no details of where our account stands unless we ask for a statement to be sent out. we have absolutely no idea of when it all finishes...they wont give us a specific plan unless we rejoin a dd scheme. so how long are we expected to carry on paying them or can we seek legal advice on all of this?
