My mother in law said she can pay £100 from her debit card to the Bailiff.
Earlier today he said that the only way my goods would not be removed is if I let him in to do a WPO and then paid money today - he did not say how much.
I can phone and offer the £100 today and then £20 a week -it is all I can afford. Is this reasonable and will he just turn it down? Thank you all
Just a quick EDIT to ask - he was quoting a 1978 levy act at me - does anyone know what this means please? Thank you0 -
do not pay the bailiff pay the council direct using there on -line payment
if you pay the bailiff your £100 will be taken by the bailiff for his fees including the £200+ he has already over charged you
can you record your phone calls ?
he was quoting a 1978 levy act at me
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: thats a new one on me and if i haven't herd of it i doubt it exists
but i can give you some quotes for him from the nation standard for enforcement agents 2012 and The council tax administration and enforcement regulations 1992 (amended 2006) in particular regulation 45 schedule 5 charged connected with distressI am not an expert I am self taught i have no legal training any information I post is based on my own personal experience and information gained from other web sites

Hi all, I have been googling my little head off and came across this FORM here, Should I use this? I also came across a letter asking for a break down in the fees as they seem to be charging far too much, should I also send this?
Thank you all for your help. Hallowitch and RAS - I am now your biggest fan, honestly x0 -
AH, Thank you - so if I clear my debt by paying the council regularly including this £100 today - is there then nothing they can do? I cannot thank you enough btw x xhallowitch wrote: »do not pay the bailiff pay the council direct using there on -line payment
