Hi Guys,
I'm trying to find a good value for money set of air tight containers to use for lunches and freezing stuff in batch.
What brand/type have you had the best experiences with and where did you get these? Cost would be appreciated too!
Many thanks!

Adiss, are a good make,i think air tight containers are a bit like kitchen towel you need a good quality one ie cheap K towel you`ll just end up using tons
cheap air tight containers will probably not be that good and will leak.I stick to the ones that have a rubber seal inserted into the crease where the lid meets the base,i have bought them in Matalan and Tesco`s
just checked my cupboard i have some with "Sozall" on them and they`ve been good and so is "Sistema" the latter i`ve definately seen in Matalan and i marinate in it and often turn the container over to make sure all the chicken /tuna is covered in liquid and never had a leak
Hope that helps

Lock and Lock are well known, reliable etc. Google them to buy. These are the ones I would use if I was in the market for buying Lockable Plastic Containers. They are also much copied so a hint!#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I think with Tupperware boxes it pays to get the best and Lock and Lock are the Best makes as they are leakproof.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

You can get 8 X 650ml plastic containers from Poundland.

I use them for freezing soup and they do the job well.0 -
We just re-use the ones we get when we order a curry0
