Hi
I really like these smoothies but they are so expensive :(

thanks

I have found that ASDA and Sainsbury's have them on offer every so often

Sainsbury's do their own version of the vanilla one, which is just as good but cheaper! Marks and Sparks do a similar one which is gorgeous too and today when I went in it was 1.30 - so quite a lot cheaper than Innocent ones!

They can be great value as part of a Boots Meal Deal - esp if bought with points rather than cash.
  • Noticed in our local ASDA, the Innocent Smoothies for Kids range has been rolledback to £1.48 (Apples & Blackcurants and Oranges, Mangoes & Pineapples). Can't see much difference between this and the adults range...definitely not enough to justify the £2.97 price for them!

BTW, PJ Smoothies look to be on specials in ASDA, Morrison and Sainsburys.
  • This site might be useful for price comparisons. (Unlike fixtureferrets, it's still free.)

  • Hi all,

I used to buy these on a regular basis. I have now noticed that they now only have 2 of the recommended 5 daily amounts of fruit portions. Before it had the whole 5!! The idea of making your own posted above is much more appealing and cost effective

    Thanks
  • Makro's do them cheap not sure on the price but i was in there with my OH and she commented on how cheao they were. even said they were cheaper than when they were on deals at the supermarkets.

Ended up purhcasing the kids version in Sainsburys by mistake as I did not realise they made a kids version. The only difference is the kids version is a more water juice unlike the normal innocent smoothies which are thicker. Have only tried the apple and blackcurrant one and it was nice
