So I heard the HPC mob were on a bit of downer and decided to check out some recent stats:

Just have a look at unique visitors this year... looks like about 4 visits in total. What a lonely place.
They think it's all over, it is now!

Unique visitors is the wrong way to measure website activity.
I did a quick search and it looks like activity (page views), according to alexa, is actually steadily increasing over the last 6 months.
It's ranked the UK's 888'th top site. To give some perspective to that, Ocado is ranked 485.

If that was a house price graph, you would say we had reached the bottm, turned a corner and prices were now rising again."The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -

Yeah, ok, whatever Graham.
Clearly no-one actually visits the site any more apart from one guy pretending to be everyone. Doesn't really matter how many times he clicks different links.0 -

LOL. I love the brevity of that comment and the choice of that icon. Made me chuckle.

I'd like to thank the OP for this thread; it's absolutely bang on topic, debating house prices. It's full of relevant information and food for discussion, and in no way at all appears to be a small, petty man making fun of something nobody cares about, hoping people will join in and validate his own petty animosities.0

I don't know if I qualify as one of the 'HPC Mob', but can confirm that I've visited and posted on the forum there at least half a dozen times this year..... assuming we are talking about housepricecrash.co.uk?0

I do visit there to cheer myself up, they are running around like headless chickens - they know the games up, there is no price crash - indeed, we are at the front of a steady climb after the miniboom now being caused by the stamp duty holiday ending.Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0
