Received a call from LCS

Hello there,
Today, I received a voice message from "Emma at the LCS, on behalf of Ian" who told me to call her on a number - which I traced back to LCS debt collectors - and then mentioned a "Court Reference No". I forget what the number was specifically.
I know that most people receive letters from LCS, so should I treat this differently?
I haven't contacted them in the past and I have not been made aware of their existence before today.

"I know that most people receive letters from LCS"
"I have not been made aware of their existence before today"
I can't quite reconcile the two statements above!
If you genuinely have no clue at all about what Emma is on about, then I would simply ignore her, unless she begins to pester you0 -

Sorry, I was in rather a hurry at the time of writing it.
I was unaware of the existence of LCS before today, so I conducted some research and found that various members of this forum have received letters from them. However, this is not what is happening to me so I was wondering whether I should deal with this differently or not.
I'm starting to wonder if "Ian" was "EON" although her pronounciation certainly made it seem more like the former.0 -
It sounds as though it was probably EON and this company is commonly used by EON.Sorry, I was in rather a hurry at the time of writing it.
