This is so true of them.

They usually try to wheedle out of giving DTD and generally have to be reminded that it is in fact their own policy and all you are asking is that they abide by it.

When you do manage to get DTD, how often is it given with an apology for your having been over-charged in the first place? I have received DTD on many occasions but can only recall once when the member of staff handed over the wedge with an apology for the initial error. Most of the time the refund is grudgingly handed over with hardly a word spoken - not what I call service.

They are so silly - the DTD policy is generous but they spoil the whole potential 'feel good' element of it by being so rude when applying it.

For those experiencing issues with your web browsing, are you using Internet Explorer? I'd take a guess that when you shut down last night (or while your PC was left running overnight) a system update ran and installed a newer version of IE.

Vinegar is one of the main ingredients in ketchup anyway. All the chippys/greasy spoons are doing are adding more too it. I always buy the sachets if they have them rather than have the free watered down stuff.
