    Hi guys,

    I wonder if you can help me! Ive been following these boards for quite a while now, getting all the tips and looking out to get good deals. I went into Mr T yday and for the first time ever i found an item that had an expired SEL. It was £59.99 reduced from £160 with an expired sel of 18/01/12.
    I was so excited when i saw this thinking that i had actually found a DTD deal. However i was soon disappointed when i went to the self service till to double check the price and it came up as £59.99.
    Do they do it electronically now? was the SEL too OLD and does it only work on SEL's that are only one or two days over the expired date?
    Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

    Welcome.:beer::beer:

    Most likely the promotion got rolled over, or if there is a big gab between now and the expiration date on the SEL the item could have came back on to promotion.

    Good afternoon 11+ers:D

    Exchanged my WHS gift cards for a mixture of Argos, M&S, Homebase, itunes and New Look. Also bought printer ink which was buy 1 get 1 half price and managed to use a £5 off £20 spend at the same time :j
    I had no problems but they did confirm the glitch still works but only by using cash each time, not a gift card to buy the next gift card. Its still a good deal if anyone has enough spare cash though.:A

    Interesting as their rules clearly state you can't use a giftcard to buy a 3rd party giftcard. Very lucky and if its noticed I think the person will get into a lot of trouble for that.
  • I got trouted at Superdrug too went to Asda for mine instead.

    No issues at mine. Lad had to check and manager wouldnt 'give change' or take money off other shopping but was totally happy to take 4.79 off each one making them free. I can live with that.
