Here's a top for ya ... don't iron (wombled) receipts to try and make them look better ... they go completely black

:o Yes I agreed - had a gorgeous tagged fashion item to give to someone but it was badly creased so I ironed it (found it was faulty) & the tag......
Took it back with blackened tag but barcode could still be scanned :T

Morning! Price checks in - two receipts with nothing. One had my Easter Eggs - BOG2F on - only one highlighted and says cheaper at Ts. 2nd one was for Oral B heads - sorry can't compare - it has 5 heads in and A has 4 in! A's are £10, Ts are £18.95 - that makes one head and the free sample of t/paste very expensive. Will take them back I think. Reckon they're playing us now...game on!!!:rotfl:

Can anyone tell me if there is a limit to how many receipts you can price check each month, and how many times you can add points to your clubcard after you've forgotten it, each month? Can't seem to remember mine ;)

Sending hugs to everyone, as always.:)

I think it's 10 price checks per email address.

    Good morning all.

  • Hi to all, hugs to those who need them.

Just popping on quickly before I do a whizz clean around the house. Just got jtd results from a voucher, conditional spend I did yesterday:

    TOTAL T £ 41.23 / S £ 23.00

    1 x ORAL B 123 PASTE 100ML T £ 1.29 / S £ 1.00 NOTE: used £1 MOC

    2 x ARIEL EXCEL GEL BIO 16 WASH 592ML T £ 9.98 / £ 6.00 NOTE: used 2x £1 MOCs

    2 x ARIEL EXCEL GEL COLOUR 16 WASH 592ML T £ 9.98 / £ 6.00 NOTE: used 2x £1 MOCs

    2 x DETTOL NO TOUCH ALOEVERA VITAMINMOISTNG CMPLT250 T £ 19.98 / £ 10.00 NOTE: used 2x £5 MOCs & 2x £3 MOCs

I also used a Daily Mirror £5 off £40 spend.

    Total shop before discounts: £41.23
    Total shop after discounts: £15.23
    jtd back today £18.23

BTW I got the Ariel 16 washes as it is £6 for two in Asda, compared to £9.98 in Ts. When you take into account the jtd and deduct the 2x£1 MOCs they work out at 32 washes for £4. Does this sound like a good deal? Does anyone know of a better one that does not include non-bio or powder?

Hope this helps anyone planning a voucher or jtd shop.

I have planned a 3 phase shop as I still have loads of vouchers and another £5 off £40 conditional spend. Will post details once I have the jtd results (just in case any of the items don't compare).

Hope you all have great day.

  • Hi, not much to report after my visit to Mr ts. Went through ss and found that my store only accepts 2 coupons then it flashes a red. Sa was very nice though and put them straight through.

I think my best deal was Bakers complete 1kg: special offer @ £2.50 then I used my Bakers £1.50 coupon from the Bakers website.

Also, quick question, can you use more than one price checker voucher in the same transaction? I have a few for just over £1 and was worried they would check the shown digits of the payment card and get sus.

I used mine yesterday too, I got two coupons so two 1kg for £2.:beer: I'll use them as treat rather than actual food.
