Visited Mr T's palace today and do you know what, they only overcharged me.Again.I can't believe how often this happens to me I must be really unlucky;)

Can you believe that the SEL for Airwick Aquamist half price was out of date? The offer only expired yesterday.;)

Shame because I picked up the last 5 and was overcharged for every single one. I think I should stop going there because this is starting to become a habit;)

Trout paid me herself as well, out of her own pocket , so she had me believe anyway."So when you paid £16..." Me - "Well I thought I must have made a mistake and picked up the wrong one,tut tut silly me!" Cue face of thunder and much scribbling on receipt.Trout  me :D!

  • I was reading something the other day about the elderly and the cost of fuel bills. Then I remebered how my boiler broke the other week and how I then unpackaged and used for the first time in my life an electric blanket!

I wonder how many elderly people have one? they are very cheap to run too according to the packaging.

    Just musing aloud............. :)

its actually colder in my mums house than in the car on the way down (in fact i think its warmer in the garden!! we have to remind the kids to take coats to wear IN HER HOUSE. the cold doesnt seem to bother her ive offered her money towards her bill but she says shes fine so i get her warm cardis and fleeces to wear at least she does that
MIl is the opposite its like an oven round hers to the extent it makes me feel faint

anyway is the bar open yet or am i drinking alone tonight i dont usually come in late in the week or drink But Dh is out with work so ive just poured an old speckled hen CHEERS

  • You've Got Mail.

One of my fave feel-good movies!! Love it!!

Some advice please anyone? Bought a deep fat fryer for £3.50 back in Sept when the electricals were going cheap. Hadn't yet opened it but thought we'd give it a try and have discovered it's faulty - grrrr!

Anyway, do I take it instore, where they will of course not have this product anymore so no straight exchange or just go direct to Breville? My concern is that T's will just offer me a refund (which I don't want!) rather than offering any sort of exchange. What do u rec??
