No they don't...I did 2 WHS's today, both attempts got cut short someway in the middle, at the till .

Store 2 young SA seemed ok, until the second time I went with 5 cards...while in the queue I saw the look of troutedness come over her, she crouched behind the till and whispered something to another SA, who scarpered off. Lo and behold, when I came to the front of the queue a manager (?) arrives and says you can't buy gcs with gcs. I told him I already have and it says nothing about it on T&C's and to please show me where it does...he advises 'It'll be somewhere on the website'.
I couldn't help laughing, said thank you so much to the SA and left!

Not a bad haul anyway, 22 cards and £84 on gc's, but definitely jealous of Blondy and Mharzuk's achievement! Why is Glasgow so full of miserable trouts and jobsworths??! It's almost as if they don't like seeing others get a bargain [/QUOTE]

Laughed out loud at said "look of troutedness" and choked on my Muller Corner. Mine did the same to me today...Was happy as Larry for 6 cards then went off to get more, came back transformed into Mrs Trout then said manager said we can't do it.

I reckon manager was watching and called her over,showered her with trout and she returned with transformation worthy of the Incredible Hulk.

I had the same thing for ages! The code is the referral code that you put in when you register, not a promo code. I confirmed the order at £10.98 :eek: and the discount came in after. 98p for 36 loo rolls and 6 eggs. Proper job! (as we say down 'ere!!) hth

i think the code you are saying is for the referrer's code but if you go on the milk and more site you don't need a referrer, it says enter the code in promo box on checkout page

Same thing happened to me today too, can't complain the SA's that I encountered today were brilliant!!!:j spent pretty much all day in there :eek: They were so lovely, I got them both a bar of their promo chocolate. Not sure I want to admit how many greeting cards I got.
I was slowed down by my little monkey moaning in the buggy..luckily Daddy took her to work with him for the afternoon, where she slept for a couple of hours, then got fussed over and went on the swings, next to where he works..would have felt guilty if she was with me the whole time. My first afternoon off!!! from baby, she is 16months!!!
The sign went up at about 4pm in my store, which was great timing, as OH had finished work, picked up other DD and came to get me. Shame for those that wanted to try tomorrow, I wouldn't have been going back, only had today.

Right back to catching up, sorry for waffling.
