I don't want to die.
I came out of the hospital and it was surreal. The sun shinning and it was a quiet sunday morning. From all the crazy things happening I had experienced in the ward. Crazy patients running away, shouting, voices repeating the same thing:( and other depressing incidents.
Yeah I'm back. Thanks.
I was taken into hospital in Malta , they woke me up at 4am to give me a sleeping tablet:) and for breakfast they served me cold cabbage and warm goats milk ...luckily i was only there 2 days or so .
The flight home made up for it , 1st class Lufthansa to Germany , Germany to Holland - Holland home .
I kept the menus - a sad sack i know .I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -

Happy birthday, Tweets and Midwinter, have a great day.
ltf, sorry to hear things had gone so far adrift, but if you learnt something positive from the experience, I suppose that's at least something. Don't forget you have lots of cyber friends on here when things get tough. :A There's usually something going on here at most hours of the day and night.
To you, 3dogs and mr 3dogs, FloFlo and everyone else having a rough ride at the minute, here's hoping for a reasonable day.Hope is not a strategy.0 -

I laughed out loud at Happy's picture of the lab in the loo - thank you!:rotfl: also lol'd at the thought of Miss Laid and her wombling email names, and Nikkilala being addressed as Mrs Lala!:rotfl: what a jolly way to start my week. I think HC ought to start some kind of blog to keep the nation smiling. (And who knows Mr T might even advertise on it!!!)
Fourp, I loved the grab of glitches idea
and finally, sorry can't recall OPs name now, but someone mentioned 'Born to Run' - just had to mention that I could just as easily have been Mrs Springsteen as Mrs Jagger! Off to see him in June - can't wait. Once I put Mrs S on a form for a bathroom company enquiry, fully expecting the answer to come by email. Imagine my surprise when I answered the phone one day and was asked "Is that Mrs Springsteen?" :rotfl: (I said yes!!)
Thanks for the laughs! Back to work I go, hi ho.
That was me, hi to another Bruce fan.
I always wanted to see him play in the USA, so OH got tickets for a xmas pressie(bless). The only place he could get them for was Indianapolis for Dec. It was ahem 20 years ago. We flew to NY but our onward flight was cancelled. We had to go via Cleveland but our luggage had to go vis Philidelphia (good name for a song there...). We got to Indy but our luggage didn't turn up till the following day! It was freezing -3 but with the windchill factor about -38! After the first night, we stayed at the Signature Inn just off of the ring road. Our directions were 'when you see Chi Chi's -it's next door!'. We went to Chi Chi's one night and it was mobbed but they found us a table 'as we'd come all the way from the UK!'. I'd never eaten Mexican flavoured chips before!
Indy is only ever busy at race time. We had a fabulous time - could go round the track on a bus - $1 and the driver stopped to let you get out to take photos!
Before the concert, we went to Maccy D's. I wore the t shirt from a UK concert, earlier that year. A couple of girls saw the t shirt and asked how to get to Market Square Arena, as they were from out of town - Minneapolis!
Concert was fantastic. Every Christmas when I hear him sing Santa's coming to town, I'm transported back there.
Great place to visit. Zionsville - it's like stepping back into a time warp. Hamish people live around the area. Sightseeing downtown is made easy - underground walkways, great when it's freezing.
Are you going to HP in June? My DD's OH is going. They stay at the IC while he pops over to the concert.
I'm off to Florida on Friday - and feel gutted as Bruce plays Tampa the week after we come back!0 -
Morning everyone, have'nt caught up yet but have had an idea suggested to me by "someone":T;)
"When the easter eggs go b1g2f at tesco people should buy lots, they work out at £1 each, but the actual price is £3 for and and 2 free. The 2 free is irrelevant. They are £1 each in asda, buy and compare "
Don't shoot me on this one as I'm not a great JTD'er but nothing to lose;) and it might already have been posted apologies but logged on and had a pm about it so wanted to post before I catch up.If it doesnt work no big deal because they're cheap anyway:)
Not sure this would work as usually they dont pricematch the individual item price on multibuys, but average out the actual price paid across the number of items bought within the offer. But as you say, not a problem if it doesnt work, as cheep (! - sorry) eggs anyway.
Other option will be in a day or so to hope they temporarily run out of the eggs on promotion (like the Xmas stockings/selection packs) and you get an offer promise for say 12 eggs on B1g2F which is valid for a month, and then buy when the price goes back up. My store always runs out of special offers like this and I get some very healthy price check vouchers as a result.0 -

Awwwh thanks! i willlovingtescoforever wrote: »I haven't posted in a couple days. Have 50 pages to catch up on..
I have went backwards with my treatment and I overdose on my tablets Saturday night. Stayed in hospital Saturday night/Sunday morning. I'm seeing the GP tomorrow. My hospital experience scared the living .... out of me.
I will pop into Tesco to buy some Easter eggs as they're BOGTF I believe. Chocolate will help.
Hugs...hope chocolate makes you feel a bit better x0 -
