that particular 1 fell by the way side as I can't drive nor can Snap and the train fares would have cost us over £600....and we could go to Salou 7 nights HB for that cost .
A pity as I'd love to go over the borders .I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -
Daily mirror moc
£5 off a £40 spend in today's paper not sure about the expiry dates yet
So I'm thinking a £45 shop to use both? Or could I get away with a £40
Any thoughts?
Xx
Or even less. The Daily Mirror (or other newspaper coupons) are not very smart - can't add your grocery shop up (like me yesterday, end total wasnt what I was expecting!). Usually the barcode is a plain and simple £5 off one and it is up to the SA to determine whether or not the conditions have been met. In the past, these have scanned irrespective of spend, so can be used below the threshold if the SA is happy to scan it. Havent seen todays but am guessing it will be the same.
Found this out a while ago when I had miscalculated and spent below the conditional spend amount and was going to pick up a few extra items, but the SA said don't bother it will go through OK and it did.
And yes, you can use both (mourns the days of S, A, Co-Op and newspaper conditional spends all combining together on the same £40 shop) if SA is happy to scan for you and as long as the barcodes are not exactly the same.
