Thanks for letting us know. Will have to delay my shopping trip to T's. It's a shame my £5 tillspit expires today though. I have a couple of mailing vouchers for £3 off and £4 off valid from tomorrow - will use all 3 together...SA permitting:)

would someone kindly tick/comment/share some of my ssm tips. I have just done some for Purditr and any I think might be MSE. should we have a list of who is who on ssm then we can all help each other. Iam the same name as here (pic is of my & daughter at her graduation) cheers0

What is the standard size of a double duvet cover? 200cm square- A Housewife pillowcase is? Without the border as below
- An Oxford pillowcase is? a pillowcase with a border around the outside
- And a French pillowcase? One that feeds you chocolate
- A bed set usually comprises of which items? pillowcase(s), fitted sheet and duvet cover
- What is a bolster? A tubular pillow
- The difference between a sheet valance & a bed valance? (I think you meant platform valance there) - a sheet valance is a sheet and valance combined, a platform valance goes underneath the mattress.
- Why do bedspreads have a large flap over piece attached? No idea!
- The difference between Sateen & Satin? Sateen is a type of cotton bedding, satin is polyester
- Why is satin bed linen a bad idea? Because there's no natural fibre so you sweat and come out in a rash, plus you slide off the bed!
