Frequent, so so sorry, truly despicable behaviour. Mindless moronic barstewards, it won't have been targetted at you personally, but it must feel incredibly personal.
Please remember that for every specimen of pondlife like that, there are lots of nice decent folk in the world, like the folks on this thread, to whom such behaviour is utterly abhorrent. Sorry you have been subject to such mindless stupidity, today of all days.
Just catching up, so well put Lutzi.
Sir Frequent, thinking of you, can't imagine how you must be feeling x0 -

Oh I got those as well today. Was like what the heck are these, then I remembered!HappyChappy84 wrote: »Oh no, that sounds like I've lost the JTD on the Lenor. If I have I'll be annoyed as I'd have been better off buying the 1.5L bottles and paying less, 68p as opposed to 99p.
Take it back??...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I rang the ward mid morning and was told that Mr 3Dogs had been up briefly for a wash but was back in bed and sound asleep. I then took Molly for her 1st vacinations at 9 am and did the Puppy Pack which means your get her 2 sets of injections, microchipping which will be done at second appointment, and first worming and flea treatment which was done today. This costs £61 but got 10% off due to my Healthy Paws VIP plan making it £54.90. It would have been just less than £40 just for the injections, less 10%, so this is a good saving. Molly behaved impecably but did squeal when the needle went in, though that was soon forgotten
I then called to tell a few close friends at the auction and car boot about Mr 3Dogs, which is the hardest part I've done so far
They all offered any help I needed though, which is nice
I visited Mr 3Dogs from 2 pm till 5.30 pm but, to be honest, he slept most of the time due to the on-tap morphine, though I did pass on everyones good wishes and he thought it was lovely that you were all rooting for him. He said that the Senior Consultant wanted to talk to me but might not be today as busy, I assume to go through all the details. I asked about the McMillan assistance but the nurse said they don't normally come in during the week and I should see them tomorrow, so gonna write a list of what we want to ask and what help they might be able to give us. So not much more news today .... oh, except that Mr 3Dogs realised today how much of him had been taken away as he saw his vast wound when they were changing the dressings
I spoke to my brother tonight and he offered to come down but I said no need. He can't drive so could help that way and he felt he might just be in the way, whereas, at the moment, I feel that Mam needs him more, which is what I told my sister too. He did offer though, if I change my mind, or if things change. We live in a tiny one-bedroomed bungalow and are not geared up for visitors, though we do have a good sofa bed. I was going to ring Alan's eldest son tonight, as he is the most responsible one in the family, so he could tell Mr 3Dogs Dad & brother, as well as his younger son, but I realised that I do not have his new number so will have to get that off Mr 3Dogs tomorrow. I have his Dad's number, but his Dad would get so upset that he wouldn't be able to take it in, so I would rather he was told in person
My friend Linda nipped, or rather hobbled, along to see me when I got back as she wanted to make sure that I would ask her if I needed anything done. Poor thing, she can hardly walk, and in agony, yet is offering to do my hoovering, or cookingShe went to see her new consultant in Cambridge yesterday and he has given her hope that her leg could be fixed up, if not perfectly, at least with more movement and much less pain. She has to go see them again, but will be going in for a week around April for her operation, so good news there
Off to have a little catch-up but am determined to have an earlier night tonight - midnight at the latestMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
