    Hello everyone

tough day for me, went to put flowers on daughters grave, she would have been 12 today.

to my utter dismay, found her grave has been vandalised,

cannot imagine what kind of low down scumbag would desicrate a babies grave,
but there you have it, am numb with anger, this is the second time the graveyard has been attacked
certain people should be tortured and then left to die in the most extreme pain.

off for a walk before i explode
so so sorry to hear this news, my thoughts are with you.

My nightly update is all very bad news guys :(:(:(:(:(:(

When Mr 3Dogs went down to theatre yesterday, the surgeon expected a routine 1 1/2 hours clean out of infection and fit a drain to get rid of the fluid, but, he just happened to look behind a tube and ................................ found a large hard lump on the back of Mr 3Dogs' larger bowel, which is a tumour and has spread to his liver, which had a few lesions too. So his routine op turned into 4 1/2 hour complicated surgery to remove the tumour and the whole back of the larger bowel and the lesions from the liver. He couldn't stitch the bowel back up as not enough left so Mr 3Dogs now has a 'bag' which is permanent :( The tissue removed has been sent to pathology for analysis and the consultants will be meeting next Thursday to discuss treatment and prognosis, but they have said it is very bad, and uncurable :(

When I went over today to see him, he was on a drip and strong antibiotics, plus patient controlled morphine - he presses a button when the light comes on every 4 minutes to administer morphine. He is remaining positive but does know what is involved. He said, having helped others through their cancer, that he could lie there sobbing and yelling 'Why me?' but that won't make any difference to the facts. He has bowel cancer which has spread to the liver, it is Stage IV, Fianl Stage, and uncurable. Chemo can make halt or slow the growth/spread of the cancer and extend his life, but that is all, and he is going to face it full on

Added to this, the van overheated as I got the the hospital so I just had to pull onto the grass, and when I came out I had a £40/£80 parking ticket private company ;). I limped the van to the nearest garage but when I put water in, it poured out the bottom again as a hose had gone, so I called breakdown who said they would be there within 60 minutes, but took 95 mins. Guy refitted and tightened hose so I got home

I have spent most of the night texting and talking on the phone but have yet to tell Mr 3Dogs' family :o that will be tomorrow now as I am exhausted. I am at the vets at 9am for pup Molly's first injections, then calling at car boot/cafe to let them know about Mr 3Dogs as we have very close friends there. Will go over to see him again at 2 pm and the McMillan Nurse is coming to see us re financial and other help when I am there

By the way, the doctor confirmed that Alan's Bowel Cancer/Liver lesions are not connected to his Grade I Superficial Bladder Cancer in December 2007, not is it connected to the appendicitis or the infection from the op. Also, he just had the all clear from routine bowel cancer tests for over 60's in January. It must have been building up for about 2 years to get to the stage it is at, and has only been found now by chance

I 'm sorry to read this, I don't post on this thread a lot but I do read it/lurk daily.:grouphug:

Ooh, another quick question. Has anyone had any problems with the Fairy Platinum safe vouchers not scanning? I tried 2 in t's last night and they wouldn't scan  said I had not met the min spend. I brought 3 bags of the 62 tablets, so £18 spend !!!
They also said, because they were safe coupons, they could not manually input them, it was policy

I've checked the vouchers on the safe coupons website and both are fine, so i'm gonna make a quick call to HO, but wondered whether anyone else had, had this problem?

Firstly, I went to S's and the ink cartridges I bought in T's the other night for £35 were just short of £29 in Mr. S so I took the ones I got in T's back.

SA: "Anything wrong with them sir?" as he glares at the "Hyperdrug £30.12" I'd wrote on the top of the receipt.
Me: "Nothing apart from the fact they're a good £6 cheaper in Sainsbury's"

The only word he said to me after that was "clubcard" so the miserable so n do could remove my points.:(

I went and did some shopping and got a £24.XX down to £14.XX. The same SA was on SS as last time and he recognised me and asked if I ha coupons. I showed him a handful and after scanning my shopping he put the SS into staff mode which let me scan each and everyone of them without being asked for verification or being told I hadn't bought the item. I had two rustlers vouchers with me too so I did them as well and instead of deducting the two cheaper prices I deducted the two higher ones resulting in 4 Rustlers for £1.98.

Sorry Motherbear but I found a lone bucket of Maltesers on the very top shelf in the sweetie aisle which scanned at £1.50 and two jars of Garners onions in the kilner jars had appeared on the bottom shelves where the pickled onions are and they scanned at their reduced price of £1.2X.:beer:

No problem Happy glad you got some :T was this at your T's or the big one?

    AND

It wasn't until I went to pay that I remembered that I'd given my last 5 or so Baxters/Garners coupons away to the SA in my local that I thought fancied me. She was asking me the other week where I got my coupons from so I told her that there was a dedicated thread on here, Facebook and SSM. A few days after that I saw her and her boyfriend struggling to pay for a couple of whoopsied items so I was quite relieved that she has a boyfriend. Anyway, when I was in the other day she said she had looked for the coupon thread on here but couldn't find it. Remembering her and her boyfriend struggling to pay for whoopises a week before hand I offered her my Baxters/Garners coupons. I thought she was going to jump out of her chair and give me a kiss, thankfully she didn't but she was ever so grateful.

    AND

I think I've messed up my JTD on Comfort Pure Care on my shop today as I forgot to put them through separately and I think the cheap pickled onions and Maltesers might wipe out the JTD. :(
