Hi everyone, not been well. trying to catch up since last thursday (did try yesterday but had to give up) so will be probably be posting randomly until I do.AN IMPORTANT NOTE TO THOSE WITH SSM BOOTS COUPONS
I used mine today on Herbal Essences 400ml bottles which are down to £1.74 (discounted by £1.75 each), now the £1 coupon came off fine off each time (in seperate transactions) HOWEVER Boots didn't discount the product properly!
Now here's where it gets a bit complicated....
On the first receipt with many other offers on it, it discounted it only by 63p and on the receipt with just the HE bottle on it, it discounted it by £1.25.
At first I accepted the assistant's explanation (I had only noticed that the seperate one was wrong at this point) that because it was half price, I was only being given half the discount i.e. 50p off the £1.74 price of the bottle instead of £1. But while I was in the pharmacy queue I realised that they could go back to the manufacturer and ask for £1 when they'd only given me 50p (hadn't realised what had happened with the boots discount at this point).
I got one of the assistants to get the shop floor manager and we both worked it out (seperately) that I was owed £1.62, and she happily put it onto my advantage card in points which is fine by me.
Just check, it may only happen on the HE products but I doubt it somehow!
Boots seem to be ironing out any glitches with any coupons as I have had a couple of their own not work properly recently. One was a mailing for £3 off John Frieda colour foam which was third off so advertised as £6.66 so I was expecting to get it for £3.66 but was charged £4.66. Seems computer took off coupon first and then 1/3 off rather than 1/3 off full price.
£10 - £3 = £7 minus 1/3 = £4.66 instead of
£10 minus 1/3 = £6.66 - £3 = £3.66
I'm guessing your SSM voucher for Herbal Essence was taken off full price and then the remainder was then halved?
Also first time ever last thursday my coupon for a free No17 item from ACM did not work in conjuction with their 342, has worked lots of times in past, till said could not use free coupon in conjuction with other offer. So I would suggest we all keep an eye on any coupons you use in Boots regardless of their source. Just found and bought this. Moët and Chandon pink champagne, in a pink box, OOD SEL saying £26.99 but scanned as £38.99. Barcode ends in 494400. CS coming back to me, with £24 I hope. So it takes it down to £12.99. Wooppee doo. It was on a round stand at the top of the booze aislesTiger

On a clip strip in tea/coffee aisle of a T's Extra, a Just What I Need Tea Towel (it must have been a man that thought up that slogan)!!! It is a pale turquoise, folded into a square and has a white tape around it. BC 43337. Just 1p, although I wouldn't have wanted to pay too much more than that, its not terribly thick, but can't complain at 1p.
Saw the £1 clothes rail however it was only a very small rail with very few items on it and not great looking clothes, may have been well picked through.
:jI just won a bubbly bar! Took about 7 gos!
Thanks LL :j:j

Happy Chappy, Neosi, Caz are any of you there? or anyone else who's good with this kind of stuff?
Pretty pleeeeaaase......Good afternoon everyone
Ok, so my internet connection has successfully stayed since sunday eve (but now too scared to turn of the router ).
Call back from Sky to say leave the router on for the next 10 days , before switching it off again and they will c/b then to see how it's getting on.
So now I have a new problem
I want to print off some more vouchers for a t's shop later today, and now my printer has decided not to work
It is a wireless HP all in one printer. It shows as connected to the wireless, and when I press print the print gets sent to the printer, but then it comes up as an error in printing.
I have had this problem before and it seemed to fix itself eventually, but for the life of me I can't get it to print today.
I wondered whether any of you wonderfully technical people, may have any suggestions?A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
Any offence is not intentional, I'm really quite harmless0 -

Need a bit more info before I could help.
Is there a specific error message?
Are you sure the printer is set as your default printer?
My initial thought is an IP address issue. Take a look here:
https://h20563.www2.hp.com/p/_wireless/faq.html
Under the first section, wireless connection issues, try the first one (static IP).0
