At my Extra on Sunday they had a few rails of reduced clothing, one of which was a £2 rail, in the foyer. Nothing for £1
Re wombled receipts and the price-checker, during DTD days I would put my fathers receipts into the price-checker for him on my computer, using [STRIKE]one of [/STRIKE]my spare email addy, he had used his credit card and clubcard. The results always came back to my email, nothing ever showed on the email address linked to his clubcard. Wonder if the OP has their email settings linked like artha maybe?
HTH's and makes sense
Morning all,
Thanks for this - reassuring that you received the result back and not him. I don't have my email forwarded from one account to the other but I didn't clear cookies before changing the email address so that is probably why it happened.
I input one yesterday to test from an incognito window and will let you know what happens later, but your experience is very reassuring, thanks. Out of interest, does your father have an email address linked for Tesco?

I do wonder when it will to end. No one knows about it anymore really. No promotion, so they could end it whenever they like. That makes me think that all the money invested in the back-end stuff of IT systems etc.. for it was expensive. Comparing thousands of products daily. Too expensive to just end it?
I'm thinking that Tesco will keep the JTD scheme running as long as Asda keep their scheme. I know that the Tesco Marketing/IT lot frequently seem to be a few sandwiches short of a full picnic but surely they can't afford to risk all the ridicule they would get if they throw in the towel and thereby tacitly admit that Asda ARE cheaper? They took a lot of flack when they stopped DTD against Asda prices and Asda would certainly make the most of the publicity if Tesco backtrack yet again.ELITE 5:2

It will be interesting to see your outcome today. Dad does have his email linked to his clubcard. This was last year though, so things could have changed with how Tesco have their price-check set up (hope not).
Just thinking as well though.... I put a couple of my own receipts (used clubcard and debit card linked to Tesco) into my non clubcard linked email addy last week and the results only came back to the non clubard email.Handle every stressful situation like a dog.

I had a dream about tesco :eek: and me getting double the difference on 48 melons. Lol.
They had problems inputting 48. The checkout guy kept going over 48 and starting again. Then the checkout manager came along and did 60 and I got DTD. I didn't complain:D.0 -
