Right, Im going through the coupons slowly, trying to compare with Asda to get a JTD ready for a Wine glitch!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE..... I need a wine glitch soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Right here I go.

1 x Orab-B Floss action brush heads 4pk ... T £18.38... A £10... Minus 2 coupons £2 + £1 off should get JTD of £8.38 minus £3 coupons... makes them cheap Electric brush heads..(RootedNomad just confirmed that they do compare)
    1 x Ambi Pur refill T ... £5.00... A £3.50 minus 2 x coupons £2 + £1.. should get £1.50 JTD
    1 x Ariel stain remover powder 500g.. T £4.55.. A £2... minus 2 x £1.00 should get £ £2.55 JTD..
    4 x Herbal Essence Dazzling shine shampoo... T £3.32.. A £2.20 or 2 for £3.. Minus £1 coupon..

    Should work out as £41.21
    Minus £5 £40 shop..
    Minus coupons = £32.21
    JTD (hopefully) of £19.75

Brings everything down to £12.46 (cheaper that Tesco sell the Oral-b brush heads!!!!)

Looking good.... Not tried it mind, Im just trying to get the best deal out of the coupons....

Thanks, it was at a manned till and she tried scanning but didn't work, was thinking that maybe you can only use 1 voucher per item?

i used two comfort vouchers yesterday - they were shrunk and i had printed them on draft/inksafe mode so wouldnt scan.

my SA just took 75p off twice...

Snap my books arrived from Amazon. Thank you for sending me the link before Christmas. I had to smile when i saw Brendan's smiley face on the cover. :j
  • Thanks. It's the only trip I've done through a travel agent (STA) as I don't think I could have done it independently, especially due to the language barriers. I did the learn the basics though - Piva pronounced peeva (beer):beer:. But we were well looked after, some places didn't have hotels and we stayed in peoples homes. We were met from and took to each train, guided walking tours although the guides were quite clearly minders/undercover agents. It was fairly obvious we were being followed when we went out alone but I think they made it obvious so we knew not to step out of line:eek:. But we certainly paid for all the guides/help etc as the whole trip, not including spending money and some tickets cost £3,500 each. I doubt I'll get there again but I would be on the next flight to Moscow in a flash. Actually, I would quite happily live in Moscow.

Wow Happy - it sounds fantastic. I agree that this is one place you can't do it yourself. It'll be a few years til we ever get there but I dream! Trying to save to get to NY for our 50ths at the end of this year, but not sure we'll manage. Not to worry, hubby and I are lucky to have lived in various countries, and visited many others. Just not been able to afford the travel since moving back to Blighty ten years ago. Plenty to explore here though. Will look forward to more piccies from you HC.:)

A tip for those using multiple SSM vouchers in one shop. Before you go put a fold down each of the vouchers individually, this will stop them sticking together when you hand them over therefore reducing the likelihood of the SA only scanning one instead of two or more. I have had this happen to me previously and missed out but since I have been putting a fold or a scrunch on them they have all been scanned :D.

Hi, you coupon frenzied lot, :D

Big hugs to Bensonmum & Magicowen for your very sad news; :( you are both in my thoughts today.

Haven't been in T's for over a fortnight; I'm working 24/7 at the mo (or so it seems). Mrs OB doing all the shopping and a right little whoopsie grabber she has become since being trained. :j
On a lighter note; my punishment for winning the quiz the other day continues. Yesterday the page froze while loading the scores (thought I was looking at a bobchorba 40,000 score for a minute) and I lost 90-odd seconds.

Today, I get this (on the subject of "Australian Medicine"):

[SIZE=+1]10. Which of the following drugs might you ask the pharmacist for if you are suffering with menstrual pain and cramping?

Now, I don't know about the other chaps on here, but... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ah well, at least it wasn't baseball. :p

    Love you all,

    OB

Now, where's that Thanks button... ah, here it is.

If you are not paying for it, you're not the customer; you're the product being sold.

No!!!! You know what you are like, you would end up cutting the vouchers in half! Stick with a scissors.

Purdita , apologies for the intrusion but next to your name is a small bubble that when hovered over offers me the chance to message you via IVQ (unsure if this is correct as my short term memory is terrible) but this doesn't appear on any other posters ...is it something you downloaded ?

    edited ...ICQ

Ooooo yes so I have!!!.....Must be because I'm special :rotfl::rotfl:

No idea what it is....nothing I've downloaded. I'm yahoo for my emails..maybe it's something to do with that????

Thanks for pointing it out. Maybe someone will tell us what it is!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
