  • Just popping on quickly to give the results to my latest Jtd shop:

    TOTAL T £ 41.08 / A £ 23.50

    2 x FAIRY WASH UP LIQD APPLE&LIME 740ML T £ 3.60 / A £ 2.50

    2 x AMBI PUR PURESSE3VOLUTION REFILLCOTTON T £ 10.00 / A £ 7.00

    2 x ARIEL STAIN REMOVER HYGIENE POWDER 470G T £ 9.10 / A £ 4.00

    1 x ORAL B FLOSS ACTION REFILL HEADS 4'S T £ 18.38 / A £ 10.00

    2 x DURACELL AA 4 PACK T £ 7.00 / A N/A

I used a £13.85 jtd voucher, a £5 off £40 spend and 9 x £1 vouchers. Total shop came to £20.23 and just got a jtd for £17.58 back. Was hoping for more but the Duracell did not compare. HTH

I am hoping to do another shop tonight, once the kids are in bed. Will report back as soon as I have the jtd results.

Just had a phone call from OH, FIL has been taken back into hospital this morning he went to see the specialist for his appointment and they admitted him immediately. OH really upset as they have given him between 2 - 6 weeks tops!!:(

Absolutely gutted as even though we knew it was going to be bad didn't expect it to be this bad, OH now running around like a headless chicken as hospital/hospice want his NI number and other docs but can't find them anywhere - have rung up SS and they won't give out the information to us - FIL is delirious and can't remember any of the details bless him. Have been told they will keep him in hospital until he can be stabilised with oxygen etc then will be moving him to a local hospice as soon as a bed is available.

Writing this i feel pretty detached at the moment and luckily have a list of people i need to contact and things i need to sort out which is keeping me pretty much together. Finding it really hard though when talking to OH as don't want to cry as he needs me to be strong as i can hear the pain in his voice each time i speak to him, and i don't want to add to his worries.

Apparently FIL was talking about me a lot this morning - don't know if it was all good mind you as i had a go at him for shouting at my DD the other day - but at least i have made an impression on him.

Asked the Doctor to sign the form for attendance allowance, but she said she can't as he is now admitted to the hospital and will have to wait until he gets transferred to the hospice - but she also said she thinks that by the time it is sorted he won't be around to get any use from it anyway :(:(

I don't mean to put a downer on any of you and sorry if i have done so, just find it really easy to babble on here and know that im not really (i hope) upsetting any one xx

Very sorry to hear your news. Sometimes just talking about it helps, I'm sure no-one will be really upset to know that they are helping you by listening.

well done DK , very impressive haul .

We haven't used our Flash vouchers yet , the quicker I get some cleaning products the quicker I have to try them out and I'm feeling lazy .

edited to add ...we're also waiting to see if MMS honour our years free supply ....I'll be in duster heaven then .

Do they know how much YOU buy each a week? YOUR years supply might put them out of business :rotfl:
  • Still no £20 JTD voucher through :(

Any tips to recover it please???

If not then I'll have to return 12 l'oreal deo.

Have you tried re-entering the details? You did type your email address correctly when you put the details in first time?
