I was the same re prizes/leader board. But the SSM thing got me thinking - you need a "cartel" of friends to agree your ideas to bump up the points. Where's frequent when you need an Elite flashmob?0 -
I didn't think they did starters with this deal - but you can certainly choose 2 sides instead of 1 side and 1 pudding. The dauphinois potatoes are a good choice cos they are cheaper at Asda.
Many thanks, had no idea you could do this. I currently have 4 boxes of Gu in the fridge as DD didnt like them  and I could have got more potatoes instead. Never mind, knowledge is everything...... you should post this as a "top tip"!0 -

Would be great if it works with 2 mains though, the sides are not good value imo.
Yes, 2 mains, 1 dessert and 1 wine, sure it was reported on grabbit previously!;)"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Been busy today spending my SSM coupons, so please forgive for being a little rude. Can anyone help re £1.00 off boots coupons I can't really find anything cheap to use them on
£1 off Clairol NNE or Max Factor, Olay or Gillette Venus.
Just a quick run down on the SSM vouchers I used today at tesco:
Fairy washing up liquid 1200ml (it's a whopper of a bottle) £2.00 - £1.00 coupon = £1.00
Flash £1.00 - £1.00 coupon = FREE £0.00
Lenor 40 wash £1.68 - £1.00 coupon = 68p
Always simply fits BOGOF £1.20 - 2 x £1.00 = FREE + 80p towards rest of shop.
Oral B toothpaste £1.24 - £1.00 coupon = 24p.
Hope this helps
Reading back and doing SSMI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -

REPLY FROM T'S ABOUT MISPRICING IN STORE
Dear ****
Thank you for your email and for your patience in awaiting my response.
I am very sorry to hear that you have been charged more than expected on Kleenex tissues recently. I appreciate how frustrating this can be, especially as the item was on a shelf which advertised a much lower price.
Please let me assure that it is not our intention to mislead our customers. We always try to provide the best customer service, best quality products and best value for money for all our customers so it is very upsetting to hear when we haven't done so.
I understand that the store had run out of promotional product advertised and had mistakenly not taken the labelling down. Please accept my most sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to you.
With this in mind, I have made sure the relevant departments are aware of your complaint and I am sure that they will do all they can to prevent this sort of thing happening again.
Normally, in this instance, as the item was charged correctly but the labelling is wrong, I would advise you to return the items to store with your receipt for a full refund. However, as a gesture of goodwill, I would like to offer you a £10.00 Tesco Moneycard with my best wishes.
For me to send this to you, I would appreciate it if you could send me your full address details and as soon as I receive these details, I will send the Moneycard to you.
Once again, I would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to you and I hope that despite this incident, you will continue to shop with Tesco in the future.
Kind regards
******
Tesco Customer Service
REPLY FROM ME:
Hi,
Sorry to have missed your phone calls this weekend - have been quite busy and my phone is usually set to silent on weekends. Thanks for trying to contact me and for your email, I really appreciate it.
I am glad you feel that its not your intention to mislead customers on pricing - however on this occasion it did look very suspicous - they were about 20 lots of these tissues stacked neatly on this shelf (assume this would be done by a sales assistant rather than the products being mislayed by customers) - surelly it should have been priority to change labelling before even putting out the new product that was not on offer, especially as the promo item was completley out of stock. However I appreciate this is not your fault and that the store in question is to blame for this. The customer service assistant that served me at customer services was quite rude, he basically implied that I should have looked at the shelf edge label more carefully and I had to argue my point for a refund in the difference. Most customers (as I am sure your aware) don't have time to check each label matches each product so I think his expecations were slightly unrealistic.
This is not the first time this store has failed to meet my expectations - A few weeks ago I was overcharged on a lightbulb, the difference was only about 50p, but its just annoying having to queue up at customer services and get talked to as if you were a nuisance when it was the store that made the pricing error. Your customer services in store is really not up to scratch, especially in the *** store that I use - there are some good friendly staff, but on the whole the store seems understaffed, morale seems low, and some checkout assistants/customer service assistants don't go out there way to help you/make the shopping experience easier (eg: going through basket checkout with a toddler and trying to pack 3 items into a bag whilst trying to hold my toddlers hand to stop him wondering off - meanwhile cashier is sat there staring into space when she could have offered to put the items in the bag and hand them to me - after all your motto is "every little helps" !!) Yes I could have used a trolley, but it seems a bit unnecessay for 3 items, as does a buggy.
These may seem like really minor points to you - but to me they make the difference in me popping into tescos and spending £10 with you, or driving that bit further and using Asda's/co-op and knowing I will recieve good service.. I really feel like your in store customer services needs to be up to scratch with the online customer service section but everytime I think I will try you again, nothing seems to have changed and there are the same problems with pricing/non-helpful staff.
I would appreciate the giftcard and am grateful you are taking the issue seriously.

Thanks again for your time and I hope that the stores can be improved in the near future.
