Why don't you contact HR if you don't remember when your pay day is?

  • It will be on your normal pay day, 4 weekly so you should be able to work out roughly what date that would be.

Unless they told you anything different.

Oh and before anyone gets on their high horse - I am talking from experience here, I used to work for them.

  • try verylittlehelps.com its full of tesco peeps who may help - I know HR and wages are not helpful and even less so when you leave

icon1.gifAdvice - Employers paid me wrongly
    Me again.

My employers have incorrectly paid me for this month (and December) they say that I can have the money back, but it will not be in cash, I will have to wait until next months pay packet. I am financially struggling, and cannot afford to ignore £120 that I am now owed.

    Where do I stand legally?

OP I take it from this previous question you wrote that you do know when you get paid as you were clear that you worked 12 hrs a week, so can you confirm what they are giving you, as you wrote you would not be getting cash as they told you you would be getting whatever it is in February.

  • Where have you escaped to?
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

    one life, live it!
  • Going back to answer the OP's question. Check your handbook if you have one, I think you will find that you last payment will be paid the Tuesday after they put through your endate. i.e. if they end your employment on a Wednesday you can expect to receive your last payment on the Tuesday the following week.

Word of warning though, expect them to mess you about when it comes to receiving your P45 and possibly your last wage slip. Despite me sending letters to both the payroll department and my store via recorded delivery they have failed to send to me said documents. This was my second job, I just needed them for HB/CT purposes. In the end I just gave up!

    I hope this helps.
