Floor lamp

Hello everybody,
Could anybody be kind enough to giv me the names of some shops where I can buy some floor lamps at a cheap price?

My ceiling light of sitting room is not working and I think it is going to cost me a lot if I want to change it.I would better go for 2/3 floor lamps to light my sitting room.

If you are near an Ikea store, they have uplighter floor lamps from £4.69.

Hi,

I was in B&Q today and noticed some floor standing uplighters for £6 - didn't look too bad - they were not on the website though as I was browsing it for kitchen lights earlier today

If you have a larger Asda or Tesco nearby that do lighting check them I'm sure I have seen uplighter/floor lamps for around £5 nothing fancy but do the job.
Warning if you do get them don't do what I did, put one of those energy saving bulbs in thinking great that will last a few years then lift the REALLY TALL lamp up over a coffee table smashing bloomin bulb off ceiling and sending glass everywhere , dippy moo:rolleyes:

Focus diy had some of those "mother and baby" lights for about £7.50 They're the ones with a light and a spotlight.. I got one for my daughter because her ceiling light didn't work
