At ADSA, just been reduced from £149.xx.
Ok slightly cheaper on line (Cheapist I could find was £131.xx but then you have p&p on top)
Nice comprimse between a DSLR and a compact, 10x Optical zoom, full control and a slr type viewfinder (swichable between the v/f and the lcd on back)
full specs at http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/digital/cameras/s5600
Unfortunatly only comes with a 16Mb Xd card *What use is that??*. but can use AA's or recghargeabes.

Great camera.
I bought one at £112 during the last Argos sale, but would have paid £150+
It's the business.

Its an excellent camera at this price. eBuyer have the Panasonic FZ7 for about £25 more if you want 12x zoom and 7 megapixels.0

gets rave reviews from Steve's Digicams, too. Bought the S5000 for my dad about three years ago, and he loves it.
Oh - and they'll do a 1Gb Fuji Xd card for £39.99 too - no delivery charge if bought at the same time.

Oh, I wish I didnt have a Fuji V10 that's only a few months old.
I even have a 1gb XD card to use.
Shame it needs AA's rather than in-built rechargeable lithium cells.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700

Well actually Fuji recommend NOT using alkaline AA's but rechargeable NiMh AA's which CAN be recharged in the camera. HTH0 -

That is big hearted of them, seeing you can buy the identical item at Amazon for £13.47. :rolleyes:0 -
Actually Amazon are selling this camera for £130.50 today as well with free delivery. So you can save even more money by buying the camera and xd card from Amazon.0

Excellent camera have one myself paid more for it but its now over a year old and going strong, Just a tip but get 2 x 512 cards type M instead of a 1 gb as the 1 gd slows the camera processing time down a bit.If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

Tell me when you look at the s5600 pics on a computer do they appear to be very pixellated? Compared to my Konica 4Mp they look horrible.
Just about to send the first batch off for enlargement so here's hoping I'm pleased with the results...0 -
