Quite a simple one but never done it before.
I had a look on their site but couldn't see any fees. How much is involved?
I've also heard you can get vouchers to take a % off or free delivery.

Did you go to the "book a delivery slot" area. The delivery charges are there as they vary depending on what slot you want.
Our local Tesco has started doing the shopping for online orders and it is now a real nuisance going in there as the trolleys they use are so wide and the staff seem to think it is okay to simply leave them in the middle of aisles.
I observed one member of staff today to see just how she selected goods. There was no care. Everything was taken from the front of the shelf even though those items have the shortest use by dates and there was no care taken to get the freshest vegetables.
Despite the hassle of avoiding these trollies, I shan't be switching over to online shopping.0 -
thanks for the reply
I haven't signed up as yet as I wanted to see how much it was going to cost first and if there was a a minimum spend
so it would be good for all bar fresh items?0 -

I would have thought so and there may be better staff than the one I saw, but it certainly worried me that things were just picked up without any care.
I will log in for you and come back with some of the delivery charges.
Edit: I tried to post a table but it was too big. The deliver charges are between £3.99 and £5.99 being more expensive for the deliveries between Thursday and Sunday. the cheapest slots are the mid-week ones.0 -

I get most of my shopping delivered through Tesco and haven't had any problems. :T
The first time that you order be sure to check out the 'My Favourites' bit- anything you've bought from a Tesco store and then had your Clubcard swiped when paying will show up here. Saves lots of time trawling through looking for things you buy regularly.0 -
My husband is a dot.com picker.
He told always to pick the best for the on-line shoppers. He has to check sell by dates and cannot send anything with that day's date on it.
He finds it frustrating that people order stuff and it is not on the shelf and therefore has to substitute.
He takes it very seriously so I am surprised by someone on here experience.
He is however expected to work quickly and this isn't always easy because he is constantly being stopped by customers wanting to know prices (he cannot tell them because his equipment doesn't scan prices) and wanting to know where items are.0 -

That's good to know, doesn't work in the Worthing area, does he?
I wouldn't be without online shopping at Tesco's. Of course, occasionally I get a substitute I don't want, and I always get my meat/fruit/veg myself...but for all other stuff, its great and saves me and OH so much time.A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition~ William Arthur Ward ~0 -
