CCJ - Everything was sent to wrong address

Hello,
I have obtained a copy of all 3 of my credit reports and have noticed a CCJ on there.
This was from an old payday company and the CCJ paperwork was sent out to the wrong address, hence me missing the 30 day chance to pay it off to have it wiped from my file.
Is there anyway I can challenge this ?
Should I call the payday company direct and make offer of payment in installments £5 a month as im on JSA.
But then I feel that as they had the wrong address on file probably as I have moved a couple of times since then when they issued the CCJ papwerwork I didnt know anything about it until I got my credit report.
I can offer payment in installments but really dont want this on my back for the next 5 - 6 years.

Had you kept the Payday lender up to date with your address at the time the claim was issued? If you did, can you prove that?
A creditor can legitimatly issue a claim using your last known address, so unless you can prove you told them the new one, then you will probably struggle to get the CCJ set aside.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
