Oil prices have been steadily rising again over the past week to help pile misery on the UK economy. Expect to see prices at the pumps rising soon and the knock on effects it has on everything else such as food prices etc.

    Nah, inflation will fall back this year, Merv said so. In fact, the BoE are so concerned about inflation falling too rapidly, they're doing more QE.

    Food inflation is supposed to be falling, so I heard. Not on all food items, obviously. Certain "niche" foods, such as chicken, seem to have risen quite a bit recently.

    One thing that always puts me off moving back to UK is petrol prices.

    My old job. I would be paying 100 quid a week petrol now. How can anyone make money???
