As I am hoping to one day become a fashion and beauty journalist working for magazines such as More!, Glamour and Cosmo, I have made a blog (fashion and beauty)which I am enjoying.
Even though I have got a fair few views, I believe most of these are my family and friends on Twitter and Facebook. I was wondering if anybody knew any better ways for my blog to reach other people than my family and friends?
Also, I am wondering if anybody has any unqiue ideas in which I could use for my blog? Thank you greatly.

You'd probably be best on the "up my income" board as there are many threads on how to make money from blogging which inevitably involved driving traffic to it.
The basic key to any website is inbound links from other, relevant, sites. Are you targeting a niche market or the mass market with it? If its mass market you are up against the big boys and their large marketing budgets. It may be better to find a small niche and concentrate on that as there is less competition.0
