Flyering in car parks

Hi all

Not exactly sure if this is the best place to ask this question so if I've posted in the wrong place, I apologise.

Basically I was wondering if i was to help my friends business by flyering shopping car parks could there be any implications for him. Getting him in trouble would be the last thing I would want to do. Obviously litter may be a problem with people chucking away unwanted flyers.

I've thought about maybe asking at customer services in tesco and offering to make a donation to their designated charity in return. Do you think they may go for it?
Also, thought about town centre multi-storey car parks?

Is it a stupid idea?

  • if it is a private car park which most of them are then I think its illegal without permission etc

Yes - not only are you going to be encouraging litter, people get really peed off with flyers under windscreens.

Why don't you walk round and deliver to target homes instead?

  • The one thing a flyer on my windscreen does is ensure I will never give them my business.
  • Thanks for the feedback, may scrap that idea!

If your freinds business requires sticking paper under peoples windscreens then its doomed to fail and you are best off not getting involved.

Even worse in wet weather when you have to scrape off all the gunk!!
