I wanna Twin In Car DVD Player which play different movies!

I am after an in car dvd player with twin screens which players different movies on each player. As there is a five year age gap between my children they tend to like different movies. Have seen one set which actually has the dvd players behind the screens and is mounted on the headrests (nextbase was the brand which I have never heard of!) Was quite expensive tho. Have also thought about just having 2 portable dvd players in the car (we have a citroen with built in lap trays, so maybe could be put on these). However do not want loads of wires etc. running throught the car. Anyone got and advice they could offer?

I had a similar problem as you got a 4 year old and a 2 year old girl and they wanted different things on I went the twin screen dvd route but didnt like the wires all over the place plus i had to keep taking the screens out because i thought someone would break into the car for them.

however i did stumble across a hardrive player with a little 3.5 inch screen 20gig hardrive, so i can upload load of the kids films and they can pick and choose want they want, have different films, they can have music on them, pictures etc. they are around 120.00 each but i even took them when we went abroad and they were great for keeping the kids quiet on a 7 hour flight.

    well worth the investment.

  • On no - so many options! I am not sure which route to go down now. Hubby is not as keen as me so the less wires hanging about the better! I did have a look at the Halfords website for the apollo twin screen set, which seems a very good price at £149.00. I noticed also that it had built in infrared transmitters which apparently means you can have wireless headphones (I am not very technical!) However these headphones by themselves are quite dear. Will have to have a search around and see what I can find. Thanks so much for all your help.
