i got a refund last year and some time ago i forgot to pay a bill and was charged something like £50 for a court cost for late payments.
if i was overcharged then the court costs should be refunded as they owed me money at that point.
has anyone challenged this?

at the time of the bill the charge was correct and as you missed paying a reminder you were summonsed, correctly, it would seem. Therefore you cannot claim these costs back.it's not the council's fault your band is wrong, blame the Valuation Office !!!!! :rolleyes:0
