I wanna new sofa from CSL - Discount?

We have found a sofa suite we like at CSL, but it is 20% dearer than one we have found at another shop (our second choice).
The suite is £1385 delivered, but they say that their prices are already as low as they can go, and do not discount any sofas (or give free delivery), not even for cash. I have spoken to both the store manager and the call centre.
I am happy to pay cash, but the only way so far that I can see to save any money is to put it on their buy now, pay later deal for 12months then stick the £1385 in a savings account for 12months for about £50 interest less tax (at about 2.8% interest). You can also spread the payments over 4 years as another option but I dont want to be paying off a sofa in 4 years!
Any money savers had any luck getting a cash discount from CSL?

No, and they do try hard to add on stain protection insurances, cleaning materials packs etc plus the delivery is pretty expensive. That said, we are very happy with our new sofas, and all went well with the ordering and delivery.
20% sounds a big difference if it's a close second choice.0 -

They make their profit from the finance side, so don't discount for cash, otherwise i guess you would be paying £££ less0
