I must admit, I got a rustlers burger on offer tonight, hubby ate it and loved it, I know the secrets of the Big Mac Sauce...anyone got the secret of the Rustlers yet??

I'm sure the sauce ingredients must be printed on the back of the pack.

Not much of a secret, it's printed on Tesco's web site.

It tastes to me like a combination of ketchup, American-style mustard (eg French's brand), and some gherkin. Very much like the dressings used on a regular McDonald's hamburger - my suggestion is a small squirt of the mustard, a larger portion of ketchup, and perhaps a tiny bit of green burger relish to get the right combo

according to my son the 'secret sauce' on McDs is equal amounts of frenches US mustard, ketchup and mayo

Thanks guys, I was prob being a bit blinkered!! and no need to convince me on the takeaway secret- it's the most used book on a saturday night in my kitchen
