Trying to find out who I had a loan with..

Hi

I had a took out finance to buy a car in July 2003 with one of thse companies that sold cars to anyone & I can't remember who the actual finance company the showroom used & I no longer have the paperwork & the loan was paid off in Dec 2006 & I believe this would have had PPI included as I was there for hrs & told the overall mthly payment inc protection & warrenty which I had to take.

Is there any way of finding out who I had this loan with & also geting a list that goes back further than 6 years of who I have had finance with

So in other words you want to make a PPI claim but you don't know who to claim against?

I'm pretty sure that if I was in the business of selling cars I would also sell them to anyone.....?
