    No. Anyone who tries to tell you they can "mend" your credit history is conning you.
  • I'm having problems here. I was under the impression that credit searches stayed on your file for 6 months. Have looked at mine and there are credit searches from this time last year. How do I get rid of these?
  • Creditsearches stay on one year but after 6 months they dont really affect your score.

    best to max your rating by applying only if you have not applied for anything in last 6 months
