The Mumsnet Haircut

Options
I post on mumsnet too and did this yesterday. I had to share it with you, honestly it is brilliant. I did it last night and it looks just the same as when I go have it done at a salon. Am so pleased. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dQ9fySG95k

That's brilliant! Will definitely do this for DD when her hairs grown back a little longer. I thought this programme was brilliant at teaching us how to do home haircuts for no money. Glad it's on youtube now. I shall watch some!

I just did this with my hair ( bought a kit from boots- £6 odd and contains hair scissors, clips and comb) and it's come out amazingly! Thank you! I do recommend using good hair dressing scissors though, else it may not look as good :)
  • I do this with my hair, saves me a fortune :)
I second the hairdressing scissors as the first time I did it I used kitchen ones and was hacking at my hair rather than cutting it lol! Although my hair is very thick which doesn't help.
It can also work with longer hair, you just need to cut it further along.

Sorry, yes it works OK now, I tried it on my phone yesterday and it came up with a whole page of videos, on my laptop it comes up with just the one.
