I had my solar pv system installed a the end of October 2011 and had a 4kW system with the Sunnyboy TL4000 inverter.Ive had most of the documentation apart from the 10 year warrenty for the inverter.I emailed the company 3 times and they say"Still waiting on the certificates back from SMA as there is a delay".Anyone else in the same situation or am i being fobbed off?
Starting to think this is a stupid long time to wait

I will have waited 4 months for mine on Monday 13th. I have threatened legal action and now been promised I would receive it within a week.
Mine is a Fronius Warranty.0 -
I've been waiting since end of November for my Sunny Boy 10-year warranty extension – it was a deal clincher having it thrown it – but it's taking a long time to come. Have chased and installers say waiting for wholesalers to forward!

Yeah our 20 year Fronius warranty took a couple of months to come through

I have chased up the warranty again this week and received email back saying
"They are still trawling through the hundreds that were ordered."2kW South, South East Solar Array0 -
If it helps your battles to have a comparison, we got ours after 3 months and a week (July to Oct). I got the impression the installer was pretty good at chasing them on our behalf. Good luck!0

Warranty certificate finally came through last week after waiting nearly 4-months :T
This week had to send it back as the serial number did not match my inverter :wall:
Apparently they won't issue another until they get it back in Germany!2kW South, South East Solar Array0 -
That's not good!
Made me just grab my 20yr Fronius warranty and double check the serial number with my inverter. All's OK at my end though.
Hope you don't have to wait another 4 months for a replacement.16 x 250W JA Solar Panels (JAM6-60-250) : Fronius IG TL 3.6 Inverter : South Facing : 28 Degree Pitch : No Shading : Manchester M460 -
