do i have a greivance

Please can someone advise me on how i stand as i have no idea?
i gave up a job i did for nearly 6 years, as i wanted something with better earning potential, i started my new job on Jan 3rd, the company i work for have employed a consultant who is self employed to do our training, in a class room environment he was fine, still very loud and bolshy, but ok. he said if we had any problems to go to him etc, the job entails being on the phone and contacting companies by speaking to their managing directors etc, we were told at interview stage that we may need to spend half an hour a night doing research and getting leads, and that was fine, but in half an hour there is no way we can get 80 leads, find out about the companies,find releveant contact numbers and managing directors etc.
we have pc's in the room at work we can use to get some leads in work, however when we use these our trainer will shout at us, ask what we are doing ask why we didn't get leads at home the night before, call us lazy for not being on the phone, i went on a PC and he came out of the office and shouted at me in front of everyone saying "i bet you couldn't wait for me to go in that office so you could get off the phone, calling me lazy"
because i asked for some help one day with something he took me in an office and said that i was high maintainence? called me lazy again, when some night i have been awake until 1am at home getting names and numbers, he said i was miserable and couldn't do the job well,saying i had no confidence, i had done a sales job for 12 years without a problem and done very well at it, with what he was saying it knocked my confidence completly, then one day i was sat at lunch putting lipgloss on in a small mirror, he did not see the mirror and was making gestures behind my back about my size, he thinks to this day i never saw him , but i did. Then it all came to a head when last wednesday he took me in the office asked why i wasn't myself that day, i said i didn't know and that i was fine, when in fact the previous night my grandad was taken into hospital, and was likely to die within the next day or 2, so on the thursday i asked him for a word in the morning, i explained about my grandad being ill and that as he wasn't due to make it through the night, as he did it was likely i would get a call that day to say he had died, his reply was that he didnt give a s**t, as from 9-5 we were sales people, and he wasn't a social worker,i asked if it was best to speak to my manager, he said i would just waste his time, like i had his, and that he wouldn't care either, he asked if i was just doing this to fish for a day off, and that he advised me not to go home, as he wouldn't be happy, he also made it clear that as he didn't work for the company he didnt have to adhere to the HR policies, as he knew i was getting upset, i got on with my job and that day had the call to say my grandad had died, and i was that scared to mention it to anyone that i didn't, i just carried on, and left work that day drying, i arrived on friday, and as usual it was snide comments, lots of shouting, generally making the atmosphere unpleasent, two of them then started talking about me like i wasn't there, and i could not take anymore, i went in to see my manager at the lunch time, explained about my grandad, burst into tears, he told me to go home, all weekend i was so feared about returning that i didnt, i have explained to my boss why, but i am now going to loose a good job all bacause i cannot work with a grown man who has treated me so badly, sorry for it being so long there is so much more i could say, but does anyone think i have any rights, any help would be massively appreciated, thanks in advance
