My first win and what a win!
I am winner number 4 of the Telegraph dream kitchen competition.
Many thanks to posters on this site that brought the competition to my attention.
My winning 150 words:
Picture a period home, in a rural location,
With unloved kitchen, lacking inspiration,
Add a recent addition, a baby in bloom,
A family who dream of creating an amazing room!
So to Wickes we turn, to make our dreams come true,
And their Heritage range, to name but a few,
An Island unit, a perfect spot for a drink,
And to finish the look, a Belfast sink!
A range at the heart of this fantastic space,
A design consultant, to ensure everything has a place,
Christmas, birthdays; every day a celebration,
With a kitchen of quality, oozing sophistication!
It’s the finishing touches that make this room divine,
The solid wood worktop and appliances to save time,
To reach a room’s potential; Wickes know how to create,
From storage to refuse; designs that innovate!
If quality without compromise is your desire,
Turn to Wickes, who are sure to inspire!
