Rare Sighting! Something worth buying in Tesco!

I went into Tesco yesterday and I never seen it so quite
No wonder though I cant believe some of the prices have shot up, offers were poor I only went because I got a £5 voucher I was lucky to spend the minimum £40 shop, luckily got one thing of offer Daz washing powder otherwise I doubt I would have made it. I refuse to pay some of those prices they charge. Back to Sainsburys and Aldi for me
Really Tesco they shot themselves in the foot now I doubt I will return in a rush. They are fleecing customers with huge price increases on some products and they think we are fools?
I just dont trust Tesco of all supermarkets0 -
I bought this today, always buy Utterly BUtterly, Clover, Flora etc whichever is on offer. Used to buy 1kg Flora but when that reached £3 a tub decided to change brands.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I'm assuming that edwardia had no idea that Flora had become so expensive?
The only reason I went was because of the voucher. Ironically I had it because I replaced my dishwasher with Tesco online (at least I think that's why they sent it to me). They're heavily advertising the £5 off £50 and money off fuel if you spend £60. By my logic that 'saving' is just shaving a little off their extortionate prices. I feel really sorry for people who only have Tesco local to them.
Like Lube I'm doing Lidl and Sainsbury (or Aldi and Asda). Anyone know if the Sainsbury offer thing has changed? Yesterday I got the 'price match' reduction as usual but no money off voucher, just a promise of extra Nectar points. recently I've been having £3 off £30.0 -
Slightly OT but twice recently I have done 90 per cent of my shopping at Asda and then visited Tesco for the one or two items Asda doesn't sell. On both occasions the (newly enlarged) branch of Teco in question has been very noticeably quieter than Asda.
I switched, not because I particularly like Asda, but because I've given up in disgust at Tesco's relentless price hikes, misleading "offers", pathetic stock control and couldn't care less attitude. It's starting to sound like I'm not the only one!0
