I know that i should avoid chinese but many chinese websites are legit.
So thats mean i shouldn't buy from this one?0 -
imo, 99% of chinese sites are scams.. keeping away and buyin elsewhere will mean you have more money after buying elsewhere than you do from here0
-
To be fair to them they don't hide the fact that they are Chinese although the address given on the website differs from that on the Domain Registration.
http://whois.domaintools.com/guanweihair.com
However bank transfer is a very dangerous and untrustworthy method of paying because you've got no paper trail and you haven't really got the foggiest idea about who you're dealing with.
And don't forget that you'll have to pay 20% VAT, the Royal Mail administration fee and possibly import duty.
I would advise you to avoid this company.
Oh and I don't know where you get this idea that many Chinese websites are trustworthy. Virtually none of them are.0 -
OP what are you trying to buy? Maybe we can help you find it on a site which appears a little safer!0

I'm looking to buy hair extensions. That company have good prices but not so good to see scam. Very profesional price list e.c.t.
Some chiness companies(bulk sales) don't want to use paypal becouse don't want to pay fees.0 -
But all they have to do is increase their prices to cover for the cost of Paypal etc. That's what companies in the West do after all.
If you are buying wholesale it's worth asking for advice on this forum:

I can't find any reviews about Guanwei Hair on the internet so it's impossible to say whether they are reliable or not but if you are really really keen on buying from them then just spend a small amount say £40 and see how the order goes. If the hair turns up in good time and it's decent quality then you might feel more encouraged to spend more money with them next time. If it doesn't turn up then you've lost £40 but it could have been a lot more.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this website but personally I would not do a bank transfer for payment on any website even if it was John Lewis0

This answer i get from VERY experience user on "thewholesaleforums"Charming_Monkey wrote: »I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this website but personally I would not do a bank transfer for payment on any website even if it was John Lewis
"That company looks legit to me. Start with small sample order and see how it goes.
While wire transfer is not safe at all, it's still the most popular payment method in B2B transactions. Make sure you send money to company's account ONLY and not a personal bank account."
I know that companies could add 4% paypal fees to price but it's very risky for sellers(those companies) to use paypal.
I thing sellers (specially on ebay) should know what i'm writting about
