Wireless Mic for iPhone 4

Hi there,
Is it possible to either:
1) Buy a wireless mic for the iPhone without the ear plugs.
2) Buy a normal wireless mic and ear plugs, i.e. headphones but still use it in conjunction with wireless speakers.
I've found some wireless speakers for my wife - the good thing about them is that she can leave the phone outside of the bathroom but take the speaker into the bathroom when having a shower.
However, she often speaks to her parents via Skype. The problem is that she puts her phone switched to speakerphone mode onto the table. She can hear her mum, but because she's a distance away from her phone, often her mum can't hear her so she ends up shouting!!!
Now, my wife doesn't like wearing bluetooth headsets and even if she was to wear some kind of wireless headset she wouldn't want to plug the speakers in her ears.
So ideally I want something to go around her neck she can wear so that the mic is closer to her and then have the wireless speakers outputting at the same time.
Is this configuration at all possible?
Thanks.
